This disc is identical to it’s blue brother in graphics and music. As the story goes, the French record label “Bernett” was given the task of pressing a “Promotional” version of “Ride the Lightning” for distribution. This disc contains the inscription “Promotional Copy – Not For Sale” on the bottom of the second side. This green version is the most sought after of the two colors.

This would be the last Van Halen album with David Lee Roth as the frontman. The picture disc of 1984 was pressed only in Mexico. Additionally, the pressing was very limited and thus extremely hard to find. Expect to pay “big bucks” for the ownership of this disc.

This was the second release for Metallica. Unlike the green version of “Ride the Lightning”, the blue version was pressed in the U.K. by the Music For Nations label with a pressing estimate of around 6,000 copies.
This disc is a compilation of Aerosmith’s greatest hits. It also is in commemoration of their 1989 European Tour. The album lists the dates and location of the tour on the back side.
