This would be the first album to include bassist Jon Brant replacing co-founder Tom Petersson. The album was a major dissappointment and Petersson would return in 1988 on the album “Lap of Luxury”.

This would be the third album release from the New Jersey based group. “Slippery When Wet” was issued in several different versions. The Great Britain version was accompanied by a poster and released by Vertigo(VERHP 38). The United States copy had a different photograph on side two and pressed by Mercury(Polygram).
Originally released in 1978, this album contain the classic “I Wanna Be Sedated”. This picture disc version is unauthorized was rumored to be of Swedish origin (unsubstantiated).

This is a 12in. EP from Mike Rutherford(a.k.a. Mike & the Mechanics).The flip side contains the songs “You Are The One ” and “A Call To Arms”. The illustration by Barrie Lee Thorpe adds a quasi Norman Rockwell look to this disc.
Printed and pressed in the United States by A&M Records, “Pieces of Eight” was individually numbered(accompaning card) and exceeded 62,000 in quantity.
Contains 9 of the original 16 tracks found on “Electric Ladyland”.
This disc was pressed in France and contains the artwork of Philippe Druillet on both sides.
Contains 11 of the original 17 tracks found on the U.K. release of “Are You Experienced”. This disc was pressed in France and contains the artwork of Moebius (Jean Giraud) on both sides.
This album claims to have been released in 1998 and was commissioned to thank a airbrush artist by the name of Sorayama, for his work on other Metallica albums. This picture disc also states that it was limited to only 500 “Promotional Copies”.
